Volunteers in Patrol

Join Old Lake Highlands' Volunteers in Patrol (VIP) and help keep our community safe! VIP is a non-confrontational program where neighbors like you volunteer to patrol the neighborhood, making a visible difference to deter crime. It's a great way to connect with others and serve your community. Be a part of something meaningful—become a VIP today!

The Dallas Police Department trains our VIP folks to recognize suspicious or illegal activity. As a VIP, you'll patrol in pairs in your own vehicle and call 911 if needed. Click here for upcoming VIP training dates.
